The Best Innovative Award – S-8204 series

We are pleased to inform you that S-8204 series has won the Best Innovative Award in Battery in the Power Products Award held by Electronics Design and Application World-Nikkei Electronics China (EDAW-NEC).

It is already the 5th time EDAW-NEC held the Power Products Award Campaign till 2008. Referring to the principles of Fairness, Equity and Openness, 3 kinds of awards which are The Best Innovative Award, The Best Application Award and the Green Power Award (the most famous product's award) were selected for each designated type of power products. The Campaign aims to provide the readers, especially the frontline engineers, with more favorable choices of power products.

There are mainly 5 types of power products chosen for the Campaign. They are DC/DC Converter, Power Management, Power Control, Power Module and Battery. The evaluation was splitted into 3 phases.

Phase 1: Participant submitted product’s profile                 1 Dec 08 – 15 Dec 08                 We submitted series of S-8204 and S-8209  for                 competition. Phase 2: Voting via online questionnaire                 15 Dec 08 – 10 Jan 09                 The vote was taken via www.eaw.com.cn Phase 3: Judgment by professionals                 10 Jan 09– 28 Feb 09                 Specialists formed a judicial committee selecting                 one product per award per each type of products.

The rules of the evaluation reflect the Fairness and the Equity of the Campaign.

      1. There shall not be any direct or in-direct relationship between the professional and the  participated
          company.
      2. Any duplication on the interviewee’s personal information is treated as invalidation.
      3. By calling the interviewee, EDAW-NEC does a final confirmation on his/her identity.
      4. All family dependents and staff of the participated company are strictly prohibited for voting.

In another words, we win the prize which is publicly recognized.

The award ceremony was held amid the “2009 Module Power and 6th Power Management Technology Seminar” held by EDAW-NEC on 9 Apr 2009. The prosperity of the scene and our happiness can be shared with you on the photos.
